Nathanael Dixon
Nathanael is an organic market gardener and chef based in Fife. In 2014 he established Falkland Kitchen Farm, a 5-acre market garden which grows over 70 varieties of vegetables, fruits and herbs for distribution to top restaurants and for a home delivery veg box scheme. In 2021 Falkland Kitchen Farm won the Best of Organic Market (BOOM) award for best UK farm under 10 hectares. In 2017, Nathanael was awarded a national scholarship to study at Le Cordon Bleu in London and now puts his skills to use cooking for private events and at street food markets using produce grown on the market garden. He is passionate about local food and in particular about championing Scotland's food producers and the natural Scottish larder. He is eager to encourage young people to engage with Scotland's food and drink and to show that it is an interesting, creative and exciting industry.
