Sam Faircliff

Sam Faircliff, MD of Cairngorm Brewery for the past 20 years, is based in Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. The Brewery produce cask, craft kegged and bottled beers - national award-winning brands such as Trade Winds, Black Gold and Cairngorm Lager as well as the Loch Ness Brewery range of beers since 2016. Cairngorm Brewery provide a contract packaging service to other breweries in Scotland for bottles and kegs. 

Previously a Director of Scotland Food & Drink (2017-2019) and Ambassador of the Year 2018, and now sits on the Steering Group for the Highlands and Islands Food and Drinks Awards. 

Sam is passionate about food tourism and sees collaboration for sustainability as the way to give visitors to Scotland the best possible experience, introducing them to as many great products as possible. The Highlands has so much of the best of Scotland to offer.
